About me…

I was born in Ankara, Turkey, in 1987. In 2004, I achieved an impressive second-place ranking in the nationwide University Exam and chose Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, known as the top medical school in Turkey.

After passing the Medical Specialization Exam with honors in 2010, I started my residency at the Hacettepe ENT Department, fulfilling a long-held dream. In 2014, I studied at the University of Edinburgh for three months. In 2016, I received my ENT license and started practice at Yozgat City Hospital.

I passed the Turkish ENT Society Board Exam with honors in 2017 and participated in the Otology-Neurotology fellowship program of the Turkish ENT Society from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, I spent three months at the University of Vienna. That same year, I passed the European ENT Board exam and became a fellow of the European Board of Otorhinolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery.

In 2019, I transferred to Ankara Training and Research Hospital. In 2020, I passed a nationwide proficiency exam and received the title of assistant professor at the same institution. I returned to academia at Başkent University in March 2022. In March 2024, I was appointed as an associate professor. In May 2024, I began my current position at Bayindir Icerenkoy Hospital. Additionally, in 2023, I obtained my DHA license to further expand my horizons.

As of September 2023, I hold four patents, have authored 13 academic studies, eight of which are published in Q1-Q2 journals on the SCI-E list, and have received over 80 citations according to Google Scholar. I am also pursuing my Ph.D. in Bioengineering at Hacettepe University
